Seek Joy Wedding Season is in full bloom and I am excited to begin sharing these wonderful couple’s wedding stories with you on the blog. ?Tyler and Katie are probably one of the sweetest, most understanding, and loving couples I have met. ?Katie wanted a simple, vintage inspired wedding. ?Many brides are creating wedding decorations through DIY projects. ?I absolutely loved the silhouette theme in her wedding details. ?Instead of wedding programs, Katie even created a chalkboard program and displayed this at the entrance of the chapel at Pretty Place that overlooks the mountains at Camp YMCA Greenville. ?The bridesmaids’ navy dresses were complimented with soft pink bouquets. ?Katie also took the lace from her mother’s wedding bouquet and attached it to her own (you may remember seeing Katie’s mother’s original bouquet in her bridal portraits as well). ?Another special and unique detail about this wedding is that Katie’s rings were created from her grandmother’s diamond and wedding band. This was a surprise for her grandfather and the moments captured between grandfather and granddaughter were priceless as she showed him her hand. ?The reception was held at The Table Rock Lodge. ?Katie and Tyler decided to do some couple portraits after their formal exit so that they could be taken at sunset with the mountain backdrop. ?A huge thank you goes out to the fabulous Leslie Lowe and Susan Gray for their assistance in capturing this beautiful wedding. ?If you are in Amsterdam and need photography, be sure to look up Leslie as she has recently moved there 🙂
Congratulations Katie and Tyler!
