Have you ever wondered how some newborn shots are created? ?If it seems impossible for a baby to hold a certain pose on their own, then you probably are correct 🙂 ?This is why it is so important to choose a newborn photographer who has training in newborn safety and posing. ?As a trained newborn photographer, I will often create images by compositing several images together. ?This ensures that a parent is supporting the newborn at all times and therefore the baby remains safe as well. ?This is a common method for several types of images including the froggy pose (as seen below in this example), the head in hands pose, and shots of the baby hanging in scarves or hammocks. ? If you are thinking of hiring a newborn photographer, be sure to ask potential photographers if they have training in newborn posing and if they know how to create images using composites. ?It is not worth risking the safety of your newborn just to save a few dollars. ?Hire a professional photographer that has specialized training for newborn photography.
