Megan’s Maternity Session at Furman University-Greenville SC

Maternity sessions are some of my favorites, especially for couples expecting their first baby. ?There is something magical about experiencing pregnancy for the first time, anticipating the day you get to meet this little baby you have carried for nine months, and a connection that deepens with your partner as you wait to become parents. ?I shared Vivienne’s newborn session on Monday-now it is time to introduce you to her parents and gorgeous mama.

We met up for this maternity session in Greenville, SC at Furman University in the Rose Garden and by the lake. ?The late spring sunset produced gorgeous light that transformed this space on campus into a secret garden scene. ?Megan informed me they are not photogenic and often both have their eyes closed for pictures. ?Knowing they were uncomfortable in front of the camera, I provided direction but also created a relaxed casual atmosphere by conversing about their lives, how they met, what they enjoy and so forth. ?Looking over these portraits, I would have to disagree with Megan as this is one beautiful new mom who looked amazing with her sweet baby bump.
