It is amazing the difference 1 year can make. ?I had the honor of photographing this little girl for her newborn portraits in Greenville SC. ?Last year, I was driving home in the snow after her session; this year it was sunny and warm with flowers blooming. ?She is a curious little girl and likes to study her surroundings. ?I am glad I was able to capture both her serious side and her sweet smiles. ?These portraits were taken at her home just a couple of weeks after her first birthday party. ?I love the bokeh created in these portraits (images were created with my Nikon 135 f/2 lens) keeping the focus on all her sweet expressions. ?Her simple white dress with a splash of pink created a timeless look that I love. ?Garrisyn likes to play with her mom’s necklaces so it made sense to let her wear one for the session as well. ? Happy Birthday Garrisyn! ?I look forward to seeing you grow into a little girl.
