Ellie’s Spring Portraits {Greenville SC baby photographer}

I am always looking forward to seeing my dear friend Erica and her husband and sweet baby girl. ?Erica and Christian came down to Greenville SC recently for the Swamp Rabbit Race. ?Christian did great for his very first race and we all enjoyed the gorgeous afternoon in our backyard. ?I had the honor of photographing Ellie as a newborn and loved having the chance to photograph her at 8 months as well. ?I used a long lens (my 135 F/2) with a shallow depth of field to blur out the background. ?If you saw what my backyard actually looks like, you would understand; however, I was able to create sweet spring time portraits despite the eye sores behind our house. ?Ellie enjoyed the warm air and exploring the outdoors, including eating dirt, crawling in the grass, and touching the flowers. ?I absolutely love the vintage look of these images using the blooming daffodils, wicker carriage, and a new ruffle bonnet I purchased recently. ?Ellie was a joy all weekend and Phill and I loved having the company.
