Meet newborn Matthew. ?His older brothers, Andrew and William, are in awe of him and excited to have a new baby brother. ?I was so impressed by how well behaved the older boys were and how gentle they were towards their new brother during his newborn session. ?I loved the idea of taking some family photos in the master bedroom. ?I used an Alien Bee light with soft box to camera right for some fill light to create a natural light effect. ?Though I love using all natural light for newborn portraits, I always bring along studio lights in the case of situations like this when extra light is needed to capture an image.
Matthew’s mom had a white furry blanket she wanted to incorporate into his session. ?I love when parents want to use special items during their baby’s session and was happy to use it in addition to the other blankets and props she chose from my collection. ?Be sure to view all the images as some of my favorites of him are towards the end. ?How much do you love the linen newsboy hat I purchased from Handmade by Lulu; I adore her newborn girl and boy hats and headbands!
