I love photographing newborns, but there is something extra special about capturing the day of a baby’s birth. ?I was thrilled when my roommate from graduate school asked me to be with her on the day of her first daughter’s birth. ? Mary Allen and I made it through graduate school together, break ups, new relationships, weddings, careers, and now she is starting a family! ? Baby Isabel decided to make her appearance a month early. ?I met up with Mary Allen and Mark at Greenville Memorial. ?Due to an unforeseen C-Section, I was not able to be in the delivery room per the hospital’s policy. ?It was fun to still capture everything that happened on this day. ?I was able to capture Mary Allen’s parents and friends anxiously awaiting in the lobby. ?Mary Allen’s mother spent the time making a stocking for her first granddaughter–what a gift! ? Baby Isabel was healthy and such a sweet little bundle. ?Thank you Mark and Mary Allen for letting me capture Your Birth Story!
