Seek Joy had the honor to photograph a special wedding in Nasheville, TN. What made this wedding so special? I had the opportunity to capture my brother-in-law and new sister-in-law on their wedding day. I loved the muted color palette with splashes of navy blue, cream, and pink. Kaylan and Nathan were lucky in regards to the weather. Instead of the typical brutal July heat, their wedding weekend was filled with overcast skies and 75 degree weather. This made the outdoor reception enjoyable for everyone. These two were wed at Kaylan’s church where she has worked for the past several years. I discovered a community garden in the back of the church with large sunflowers. Kaylan was a trooper and we used plastic to keep her feet and dress out of the mud that remained from a recent rainfall. It was a amazing to see the support and love from family and friends towards Kaylan and Nathan all weekend. I am blessed to have such an amazing new sister-in-law. Welcome to the Preuss Clan, Kaylan!
A huge thank you to Jessica Caver for second shooting with me; if you are looking for a photographer in the Nasheville area, be sure to check her out!
